The 863 programme "The research and development for high power density vanadium redox flow battery system" ,which undertaken by 303 group , has been made a great process. Our group has been developed kilowatt cell stack, and it has been conducted in the laboratory to taken charge/discharge recycles life test experiment over 2000 times. Until now ,the life-test is still in progress. The cell stack`s energy conversion efficiency is over 80%, and the cell`s performance is stability.

To further examine the VRB`s actual application performance, explore the electronics interface device and control software between the VRB and the user, the 3030 group also developed a demonstration system consist of kilowatt cell stack, system control module and LED screen independently. At night the system can store energy, during the day, it can applied in the LED power supply. Now, the system is still operating and to be observed. One significant of this system is to promoting the VRB`s research work.
