Introduction

To meet the great technology need of large-scale renewable energy storage, smart grid construction as well as electrical vehicles manufacture, the energy storage division of DICP mainly focuses on the study of key materials, system integration and demonstration of the energy storage batteries. The final goal is to make the division a world-leading center for energy storage technology. 

The energy storage division is composed of five groups, including the topics of novel battery technology, key materials and technology of redox flow battery, battery simulation and system integration, battery evaluation and engineering, battery development and demonstration. The division follows the principle of integrating closely with the research, commercialization and customers. The energy storage division will mainly focus on the fundamental research of energy storage to solve the key scientific issue from application. At the same time, the large-scale manufacturing technology and system integration will be co-explored with Rongke Power Ltd, as well as the demonstration will be carried out with the national grid. The energy storage division will insist the people oriented strategy, pay quite attention to the talent team construction. At the same time, the team will be continuously strengthened via cultivation and introduction.
