Our DICP held the first phases preserve acceptance briefing and second phases demonstration briefing of DICP-SAMSUNG Fuel Cell Joint Laboratory’s cooperation project which has being born by our group 303 on May 18 and 19, respectively. Director of DICP-SAMSUNG Fuel Cell Joint Laboratory, Prof. Huamin Zhang chaired the briefing, Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology chief representative in China, Dr. Kwon Soon Don, Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology proton exchange membrane fuel cell principal Dr. Duck Young Yoo, Dr. Suh Sanghyuk attended the meeting. The first phase of DICP-SAMSUNG Fuel Cell Joint Laboratorys cooperation project which was held from April 1, 2004 to April 30 this year, have reported a total of three patents, two published papers, ending up with innovative and independent intellectual property rights results. The first phase has achieved and even partially exceeded the contract specifications, and totally completed the contract. Both sides of the first cooperation project are satisfied with the obtained results.
Samsung approves of the preliminary results obtained by our DICP s launch of the second phase in advance, agreeing with the contents of the second cooperation projects. The two sides have reached a consensus about research ives, research methods, project funding and target node, in full accord to start the second cooperative project and to complete the project procedures as soon as possible.
