May 22, the 5MW/10MWh VFB storage system with independent property rights developed by DALIAN RONGKE POWER CO. Ltd and Energy Storage Division of DICP passed through the acceptance check by its owner State Electricity Longyuan Corporation. The experts participated the acceptance check gave a high comment of the project and regard the performance of the project well met the design requirements.

The storage system has been in running for three months since its paralleling into the grid. Longyuan Corporation has taken a thorough evaluation of the performances of the system, including power output, self-adaption, long range responsiveness, communication compatibility and information interaction ability, power efficiency and capacity. All these tests showed good performances of the system and met the project requirements. The acceptance of the project shows that the 5MW/10MWh VFR storage system has reached world level and will definitely boost the industrialization of VFR and further accelerate the commercialization of renewable energy generation.
