Vice Minister ZHANG Guobao of the National Development and Reform Commission visited Rongke Power Co. Ltd., in company with Minister JIANG Zuoyong of the Liaoning Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Assistant Mayer JIANG Zhou of Dalian visited Rongke Power Co. Ltd. Sunday afternoon. Director ZHANG Tao and Vice Director LIU Zhongmin of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics as well as board chairman and general manager LIU Yanhui of Rongke Power Co. Ltd. accompanied the visit.

Chief engineer Prof. ZHANG Huamin of Rongke Power Co. Ltd. presented the technical features, R&D achievements, and industrialization progress of the VRBs. R&D of VRBs in Rongke Power Co. Ltd. is in rapid development. Upon the emerge of low carbon economy, Rongke Power Co. Ltd. has carried out different-scale demonstrations of VRB energy storage system for wind and solar power in corporation with State Grid or Tibet government, achieving positive results and world-wide impacts. Vice Minister ZHANG Guobao enquired about the related information and he also visited the VRB workshop and the under-installing 260 kW VRB energy storage system.

Vice Minister ZHANG Guobao highlighted the research achievements in DICP. He also enquired the progress of DMTO and encouraged its rapid promotion.
