Executive director of integrated technology of Samsung, Dr. Chang Hyuk; PEMFC Group Leader, Dr. Duck Young Yoo ; DMFC Group Leader ,Dr. Pak Chanho; and deputy director of Beijing Office for Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, Dr. Liang longnan visited DICP on January 12, 2007.

Both sides expressed satisfaction over the results of co-operation and hoped that through second phase of the cooperation, cooperation projects would be enlarged by DICP-SAIT Fuel Cell Joint Laboratory. In the work of Second Phase of the Cooperation Agreements, Prof. Zhang Huamin signed a cooperation agreement ‘Research and development of novel catalyst for high temperature PEMFC’ with Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology; Prof. Sun Gongquan signed a cooperation agreement ‘Investigation of anode catalyst for direct ethanol fuel cell’.
